The
"First in Freedom" July 4th Parade takes place on Saturday, July 4 from 9:30 am to noon and there will be road closures you will need to navigate around when visiting our restaurants.
Road closures will begin at 6:30 am and last through 12:30 pm. N. Salisbury Street between Peace Street and W. Lane Street will be closed as a staging area for the parade. The Parade route starts at the intersection of W. Lane Street and N. Salisbury Street, and travels south on Salisbury before taking a left on W. Morgan Street then a right onto Fayetteville Street. The parade will continue down Fayetteville Street before ending at Lenoir Street.Below is a map showing the road closures and alternate routes to the closest parking options.
If you are visiting
Sitti, Gravy, The Raleigh Times, The Morning Times, The Pizza Times, The Mecca, or Landmark Tavern:From the west, take Jones Street to N. Dawson Street and turn right onto Dawson Street. Follow Dawson Street to W. Lenoir Street. Turn left on W. Lenoir Street then turn right on S. Salisbury Street. Turn left onto E. South Street then onto S. Wilmington Street. Follow S. Wilmington St. to access parking decks.
From the east, take E. Edenton Street to N. Blount Street, then turn right onto E. Hargett Street or E. Martin Street to access parking decks on S. Wilmington Street.
From the north, take Capital Blvd. N. Dawson Street and turn right onto Dawson Street. Follow Dawson Street to W. Lenoir Street. Turn left on W. Lenoir Street then turn right on S. Salisbury Street. Turn left onto E. South Street then onto S. Wilmington Street. Follow S. Wilmington St. to access parking decks.
From the south, take Western Blvd and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. to S. Wilmington Street. Turn left onto S. Wilmington Street to access parking decks on S. Wilmington Street.

If you are coming from the north, south, or west, you should be able to take your normal route. If you are coming from the east, take E. Edenton Street to N. Blount Street. Turn left onto Blount Street and follow it to E. South Street. Turn right on E. South Street, then turn left onto S. McDowell Street. Follow S. McDowell Street to W. Davie Street. Turn left onto W. Davie Street.
