The Pit's 'Cuegrass Festival

The Pit's annual ‘Cuegrass Festival is making its return for the first time in 2 years - and we’re moving the party to Fayetteville Street in 2022!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 16 from noon - 6 p.m. on Fayetteville Street between Morgan and Martin Streets. We're closing down the streets and firing up the pig cookers for our annual toe-tappin' benefit concert. Enjoy cold beer and live bluegrass music while supporting a good cause - 100% of food and beverage sales will go to charity, as always. Our beneficiary is SAFEChild's Champion our Child capital campaign. Funds will also support BSA Troop and Pack 325 and the Junior League of Raleigh Backpack Buddies program.

Empire Eats Lunch Boxes

Whether you’re working from home or the office, let your favorite restaurants handle “what’s for lunch?”. Choose a restaurant, place the order for you and your colleagues. All boxes may be picked up individually, as a group or delivered within range. Please allow a 48 hour notice when ordering. Minimum of 10 orders.

Eggplant Parmigiana Sandwich: Cornmeal and breadcrumb encrusted eggplant, topped with gravy and hand-stretched mozzarella, whipped ricotta, and fresh basil served on a sub roll


Lasagna: Mascarpone, ricotta, Parmesan, mozzarella, local ground beef and pancetta Bolognese

Eggplant Pie: Thinly sliced panko-crusted eggplant baked in gravy and finished with Parmesan cheese
